We aim to make scientific discoveries that uncover molecular and cellular mechanisms of normal auditory processing, that elucidate the biological origins and pathophysiologies of hearing loss, and that contribute to the development of the novel therapies for auditory disorders.

The Cunningham Lab is located in the Pittsburgh Hearing Research Center (PHRC), the Pittsburgh Institute for Neurodegenerative Diseases (PIND), and the Departments of Otolaryngology and Neurobiology in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine.
